Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have experience to join Jiu Jitsu?
No, you don’t need to be in experience or great physical condition to start Jiu Jitsu. Our classes are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, and you’ll gradually build strength, endurance, and flexibility through regular training. We encourage everyone to join, regardless of their current fitness level.
Can I try a class before signing up?
Yes, if you have never trained before we offer a free introductory class included into your 7 day free trial.
The free introductory class and free week of training is available for all new students. This gives you the opportunity to experience our gym, meet our coaches, and see if our training environment suits your needs. Contact us to schedule your trial class, and we’ll be happy to welcome you.
What are the classes like?
Our classes typically begin with a warm-up, followed by technique instruction and drilling. After that, students participate in live sparring (also known as "rolling") to practice what they’ve learned. Each class is structured to accommodate different skill levels, so everyone feels challenged yet comfortable.
Do women train at your gym?
Absolutely! We have a strong community of women who train at our gym, and we offer women-specific classes as well as mixed-gender sessions. Jiu Jitsu is an excellent way for women to build confidence, learn self-defense, and improve overall fitness in a welcoming environment.
What about children?
We offer kids' classes that are specifically designed to be safe, fun, and educational. Our instructors focus on teaching discipline, respect, and foundational Jiu Jitsu techniques. Jiu Jitsu is a great way for children to develop physical and mental skills that will benefit them both on and off the mats.
